Buying land in Kasauli
Kasauli is a small cantonment hill town in Solan district, about 65 km from Chandigarh, prized for weekend homes and pine-forest views but with limited land and strict building controls.
Most buyable plots lie outside the cantonment, around Garkhal, Jangeshu, Chakki Ka Mor, Dharampur and the Sanawar side.
Kasauli's planning area has building-height and density limits, so confirm what can be built before you agree a price.
