For landowners

Sell your plot in Himachal Pradesh

How it works

Send us the location, area, land type and asking price of your plot. We review the details, ask for the jamabandi and tatima, visit or collect photos, and list it for buyers who understand Section 118 and are ready to proceed.

What we do for sellers

  • List your plot with clear details, area conversions and location context
  • Screen buyers so you deal with people who can actually complete the purchase
  • Coordinate site visits and demarcation
  • Point buyers to the Section 118 process so the deal does not stall

Tips for a faster sale

  • Keep your revenue records up to date and get all co-owners on board
  • Share honest details on road access, water and electricity
  • Price against recent sales of similar plots nearby

Questions from sellers

What documents do I need to sell land in Himachal?

Keep the latest jamabandi, tatima, mutation entries and your identity documents ready. If the buyer is not an agriculturist, they will need Section 118 permission before the sale deed is registered.

Can I sell my land in Himachal to someone from outside the state?

Yes, but the buyer must first get State Government permission under Section 118 of the HP Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972. Make the sale agreement conditional on that permission.

How long does it take to sell a plot through Haweli?

It depends on location, price and documents. Plots with clear records, road access and realistic pricing sell fastest. We'll give you an honest view after we see the details.
